Lisa Dominato is a passionate advocate for child, youth and adult mental health. She is currently Chair of Vancouver’s Kettle Society, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping people with mental illness. She is also an elected School Trustee with the Vancouver Board of Education.
Lisa has 12 years experience in senior political and government positions. As the Director of Student Wellness and Safety with the Ministry of Education, Lisa worked collaboratively with education stakeholders to develop public policy aimed at fostering safe, healthy and inclusive schools throughout British Columbia. This work included a strong focus on mental health and wellness. Lisa also served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Education.
Throughout her career, Lisa has volunteered in her community and is known for her collaborative approach to achieving common goals. She is the past Vice-President of the Kiwanis Club of Victoria and past President of the Victoria-Beacon Hill Constituency Association.
Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. She is fluent in French and English.
