Beyond Behaviours: When Is It More? What It Looks Like at Ages 4 – 8

Why can it feel so tricky to tell if our kids are on track, going through a phase, as opposed to struggling with something more, or something beyond behaviours? Join us to learn from Karen Peters, Registered Clinical Counsellor, as she talks with us about the developmental stages of children 4 – 8 years old and what might be some signs of mental health challenges at this age.
This video presentation will be followed by a discussion facilitated by the Family Peer Support Workers in Richmond.
We will be hosting this in-person event at Richmond Public Library 100-7700 Minoru Gate Richmond.Â
This is an informal opportunity to connect and learn with other families. Â
The event is free. Please register as the library is generously offering us space, and we want to make sure we are ready to welcome you.
Doors will open at 9:45 am and the video presentation will begin at 10:00 am.
