A Conversation for Families About Digital Wellbeing and Mental Health

May 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm PDT

As parents, we struggle with balancing our children’s time spent in the digital world and what we consider the real world. It’s not easy to know how much time spent on technology is too much and how to set boundaries that don’t create conflict. Join us in person to watch this video conversation with Dr. Kristy Goodwin, a digital wellbeing expert, to learn some practical solutions to our everyday concerns and challenges around our kids’ use of screens and their mental health. Connect and talk with other families about what helps.

This video presentation will be followed by a facilitated discussion by the Family Peer Support Workers in Maple Ridge.

We will be hosting this in-person event at: Westview Secondary School (Library)

Location: 20905 Wicklund Avenue Maple Ridge  V2X 8E8 (Library)

Map: 20905 Wicklund Ave

This is an informal opportunity to connect and learn with other families.

Please note: The event is free.  We would like to ask that you please register as the school is generously offering us space, and we want to make sure we are ready to welcome you.
