When we experience relationship challenges with our children, it can be stressful for all involved, leaving parents confused, frustrated, even walking on eggshells. This one-hour video with Dr. Adele Lafrance will provide techniques to support parents to heal relational ruptures with kids and teens using an emotion-focused approach. Dr. Lafrance encourages parents to watch and reflect from their own experiences during the video. As parents ourselves, we know that when our relationships with our kids break down, we can be left feeling lost, worried, hurt and searching for answers. While we don’t have a magic cure for all relationship pain, Dr. Lafrance offers us some ways to begin – when even a beginning seems impossible. This can be an emotional topic. Join us and together we can help each other with the hard parts.
Come together with other families to watch this video presentation and stay for a facilitated discussion by a FamilySmart Parent Peer Support Worker.
