Self Harm: There is Always Help, There is Always Hope

June 6 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PDT

Learning your child is self harming can be scary and overwhelming. Self-injury takes many forms and the reason why someone self harms is complex.

In this video hear from a young person with lived experience and a health care professional as they discuss what self-harm is, why youth self-injure, and other options for healthy coping strategies.

Come together and watch a video presentation and stay for a facilitated conversation by our FamilySmart Parent Peer Support Workers.

6:30pm-8:00pm Pacific Daylight Time (British Columbia)
7:30pm-9:00pm Mountain Standard Time (Alberta)

These events are funded for parents and caregivers living in the Province of British Columbia and for CASA families in Alberta. If you are from another province or territory, or live outside of Canada, we welcome you to visit our video library at www.familysmart.ca/videos and use our resources. Thank you.
