Working Together: Families and Schools

When our kids struggle with their mental health, school can be hard for them and it can be hard for us to know how to help. This video talks about focusing on our kids’ strengths, and building relationships with our child’s school as ways to begin helping our kids. 

Join us in watching a video conversation with Ashley Ragoonaden, Principal at École KLO Middle School.

Come together with other families to watch this video presentation followed by a facilitated discussion by the Family Peer Support Workers in Richmond.

This in-person event will be hosted at Touchstone Family Services, Multipurpose Room: 210 – 3031 Viking Way, Richmond, BC. V6V 1W1

This is an informal opportunity for middle school families, and/or families with kids transitioning from elementary to secondary school, to connect and learn with other Richmond families.  

The event and parking are free. We would like to ask that you please register as the school is generously offering us space, and we want to make sure we are ready to welcome you.
