Connect with a Family Peer Support Worker

Family Peer Support Workers offer peer support to parents and caregivers in community, hospitals, mental health programs and as part of BC’s Integrated Child & Youth (ICY) Teams. We would like to introduce you to the Family Peer Support Worker offering support where you live or where your family is accessing service & care for your child or youth.

What We Offer

  • Open and Accessible Family Peer Support for All BC Parents and Caregivers: Wherever you live in British Columbia, you can connect with a Family Peer Support Worker for free, confidential, open-access support. Support is offered  locally in many BC communities; and over the phone or virtually everywhere else across the province, thanks to our partnership with BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre. No referral is needed; you can reach out to us directly at any time.
  • Program Based Support: Family Peer Support Workers are also part of multidisciplinary teams in many mental health and substance use programs throughout BC. If your child is receiving services in one of these programs, you will be invited to connect with a Family Peer Support Worker as part of your care team.

If your community isn’t listed, don’t worry. Choose anywhere in B.C. and you’ll be able to connect with our province-wide Family Peer Support team.
