Working Well Together Training – better experiences, better mental health
Have you ever wondered, “Why can’t we all just get along and work to make things better?” Living with and supporting mental health can be hard. We have learned from young people, parents/caregivers and professionals, what can help make it easier. Working Well Together Training brings together young people, parents/caregivers and professionals to learn with and from each other so we can improve our experiences together.
During the training, participants share their perspectives to help others understand what it looks like and sounds like when things go well.
The focus of the training is NOT about telling the details of personal journeys or focusing on things that didn’t go well. It’s about the things we say and do that help us have good experiences together. Together, we can change our experiences to improve the mental health outcomes of young people.
The training is currently being offered online.
Workshops for Schools in BC
Supporting students’ mental health can be hard. We know, as families, it can be hard for us, too. We don’t have to do this alone. Students, educators and families have shared with us some skills that make it easier for all of us to work well together. Using our Working Well Together Training Framework, we have created 3 workshops that support the important relationship between homes and schools. Workshops are 45 minutes and offered online or in person in some communities. Invite us to a Pro-D day or staff meeting. There is no cost to schools in 2022. Click here for more details about the workshops.
